Diabetes Symptoms: Learn to Spot the Symptoms of Diabetes Early

Diabetes Symptoms: Learn to Spot the Symptoms of Diabetes Early

If you pay attention to your body, you can spot diabetes symptoms early and have a far better chance to reverse the disease before it becomes severe. Remember that Type 2 diabetes mellitus is practically always a preventable disease. You never have to experience the symptoms of diabetes type 2 – if you are willing and ready to make a firm commitment to healthy living today.

Diabetes Types:

There are several types of diabetes and most are preventable. Type 1 diabetes mellitus has no definitively-known causes and/or cures. This is also called insulin-dependent diabetes and is characterized by a complete lack of pancreatic function.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus, the most common type, is almost always able to be prevented through modifications in eating habits and exercise levels. Type 2 diabetes accounts for over 90% of all diabetes mellitus cases.

Gestational diabetes mellitus is the diabetes type that women develop during the later stages of pregnancy. The label is reserved for women who have never before exhibited any diabetes symptoms. It almost always regresses completely after delivery and is very manageable during pregnancy – again with healthful dietary standards and daily exercise.

Diabetes Symptoms:

Look out for the following symptoms of diabetes and consult with your physician if you believe yourself to be at risk:

Frequent urination; Insatiable thirst; Excessive hunger; Weight loss; Slow-healing wounds; Drowsiness, difficulty waking up; Fatigue, weakness; Irritability; Dry, itchy skin; Velvety skin on neck or underarms; More…

What causes diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is caused in the majority of cases by improper food choices, improper eating habits and sedentary living. We have to eat nutritious foods in a healthy manner and we have to exercise daily if we wish to avoid the development and onset of diabetes symptoms. There is simply no other way. Teaching yourself new ways to perceive the foods that you consume and being physically active bring new meaning to your life. Your days become far more enjoyable and you significantly decrease your propensity to develop all diseases – not just type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Current diabetes research shows that there are over 57 million people in the US alone that have pre diabetes. These are the people at the highest risks for developing Type II diabetes. If you are amongst them, then you need to take immediate action and redefine your habits concerning your diet and exercise programs. Remember that the symptoms of diabetes can very likely be reversed.

Preventing Type 2 diabetes:

You can prevent type 2 diabetes mellitus by committing to the following positive lifestyle changes:

Start concentrating on eating foods that are mainly water like fruits, vegetables and legumes; Eat 5 or 6 small meals on a given day instead of just 1 or 2 large meals; Eat your meals at the same times every day; Shun fast foods and processed foods from your life. Also, no bleached foods, microwave foods or high-fat foods; Avoid excessive alcohol consumption; Avoid high-sodium foods; Turn and run from Trans fats; Drink a lot of water every day; Exercise for at least 20 to 30 minutes every day;

Avoid the development of diabetes symptoms beginning today by committing to a healthy lifestyle. You and your loved ones will be so much happier for it.

Diabetes: Types and Causes

Diabetes: Types and Causes

Diabetes mellitus, sometimes called sugar diabetes is a condition that occurs when the body is unable to use available glucose. Glucose is the main source of energy for the body cells. Glucose is a kind of fuel that makes functioning of our body smooth and efficient. It reaches muscles, organs and other parts of the body where ever it’s needed. The levels of glucose in blood are controlled by a hormone called insulin. Insulin is the hormone that is responsible for transferring glucose in entire body. There are three types of diabetes. A person with Type 1 diabetes is unable to produce insulin. Type2 diabetes patients are able to produce insulin but their body is not able to process the insulin. Gestational diabetes develops mostly in women who are pregnant.

For those who have family history of diabetes, the disease has greater chance of starting earlier in childhood. The most common causes of diabetes are: alcohol consumption, infection or disease. Type 1 diabetes occurs in children mostly due to genetic reasons. Type 2 diabetes generally affects adults. Causes of Type 2 diabetes include aging, being overweight and low physical activity. Juvenile diabetes occurs mostly in children who do not have enough insulin levels in their body. The causes of diabetes in juveniles are generally hereditary.

Type1 diabetes, Type2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes are the different types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is also called autoimmune diabetes. Person with Type 1 diabetes has immune response against his own beta cells of pancreas, so pancreas is unable to produce any insulin at all. That is why it is called as autoimmune diabetes. Type 2 diabetes: Type Diabetes is also called as non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or adult-onset diabetes. This is the most common type of diabetes affecting nearly 80% of all cases of diabetes. It is usually seen in adults. There are two mechanisms of Type 2 diabetes. Either there is a deficiency of insulin, or there is an increased resistance to insulin. Gestational diabetes: Women affected with diabetes during their pregnancy are usually affected by gestational diabetes.

Those diagnosed with severe effects of diabetes are usually responsible for ignoring high levels of glucose in their body over a long period of time. This is why early detection is important. Excess blood sugar levels have a horrible effect on the body. Some common effects from diabetes include vision problems, kidney damage, nerve damage, blood circulation and heart problems. A person with diabetes is at a higher risk for these types of conditions, but a person who fails to control diabetes is even more likely to develop one of these conditions. Diabetes, if diagnosed early, can be treated by following a regular diet, appropriate exercise, and taking regular oral medications prescribed by a physician. Several diabetes medications are available to treat diabetes. Most are taken in the form of pills. One should control the affected disease personal care of his or her self or by making a firm commitment.

Having suffered long with the ailment, it’s a feel good factor to advice about making health easy and life relaxing. Find more about the diseases instead of going for risky surgery & medications side effects.

Diabetic Supplies Discounted – What to Look Out For

Diabetic Supplies Discounted – What to Look Out For

Diabetic supplies are essential to persons suffering from diabetes as they are able to put the disease under control and reduce diabetes-related complications and deaths.

The most common diabetes supplies are insulin pumps, glucose monitors, syringes, test strips and lancets. Diabetes is a very expensive disease to contain thus the need for the patients to know how to access discounted diabetic supplies.

Renata Nyleve Editor of the “Free Diabetic Testing Supplies” website — http://www.FreeDiabeticTestingSupplies.net — pointed out;

“…When searching for companies that offer diabetic supplies at reduced rates, price should not be the only factor determining the company to choose. Heavy consideration should be on the quality of the supplies. It would not make sense to go for cheap supplies which will not be of any help to the body. Information on which company offers better quality supplies can be obtained from the national diabetes control bodies…”

The ease of obtaining the diabetic supplies should also be considered. A company may be charging low prices for the supplies but the overall carrying cost may not be that low after all. A patient should therefore go for a company with the most convenient means of delivery. For instance there are those that ship the supplies right to one’s home or those that give the patient a chance to transfer their prescriptions online. Some companies will give patients a chance to come up with personalized delivery plans that suit their unique conditions.

Money back guarantee is an important feature that is offered by most diabetic supplies companies. It is advisable to go for such companies as the patients get nothing if the supplies do not work for them.

“…Getting the right companies that offer diabetic supplies discounted, requires an extensive search through the internet where most product prices are posted. The patient is able to compare the rates charged by different companies and go for the most suitable. It is important to note that most companies offer discounted diabetic supplies that last for only a given period thus the need to make orders when such terms still exist…” added R. Nyleve.

The only insulin sold in America is Synthetic DNA insulin which doesn’t have c-peptide which prevents diabetic complications even with good control. Only the natural pork & beef insulin has c-peptide in it which you have to have imported from Cananda or England. My son is back? on natural pork insulin. Drug companies profit from the complications their inadequate insulin causes, by selling more medications. Some people refer to synthetic insulin as murder for profit insulin or poor man’s insulin.
