Black in America: American Diabetes ociation Fires Engineer for Helping Diabetics

This is another part of the lecture where the speaker (an engineer) discusses why the American Diabetes ociation (ADA) fired him. Despite the engineer’s success with improving the health of diabetics in the support group, doctors complained that they were losing money because people were buying less diabetic drugs.
Note: African-Americans and other ethnic groups are manipulated by these groups via church health fairs and by asking them to do volunteer work.
Racial profiling exists in many walks of life — schools, work, police, doctors, hospitals, medical industry, shopping, etc.
The best thing to do is to arm yourself with knowledge.

What is a 1200 calorie ada and renal diet?

I AM A DIABETIC OF 21 YEARS WITH – SLIGHT KIDNEY DISFUNCTION AND TRYING TO AVOID MORE. WHAT CAN I USE TO CLEAN THE TOXINS FROM MY SYSTEM? ALSO WHAT FOODS ARE LIMITED ON A RENAL DIET?

Come on… if you have "slight kidney" dysfunction its not the renal diet you need its the sugar control after 21 years you know that.

I have been a diabetic all my 47 years I just started on dialysis 5 months ago. It is the last stop for me that is why its called END Stage renal failure. DON’T even or every go there!!! its not fun its not helpful! its just what it is… a way to stay alive!

After 21 years and you don’t know what a 1200 diet is you need some super serious help. I am not trying to me mean but from where Im sitting you are the very blessed one.
Your toxins are still cleanable by drinking plendy of water, distilled if you really want the best
Us on the renal diet can’t drink more than 3 cups of ANY liquid in a 24 hour time. thats even the part of the jello, puddings, and we even have to count the " teaspoons of salt soup" they give if the blood pressure goes to low during dualysis! even the water I use with my pills!
A renal diet is not really a diet its a big book of forbidden foods, never a baked potatoe again, never a fresh veggie or fruit again. Im allowed 1/8 canned peaches but I have to count them into my liquid too!! NO black drinks such as diet coke, strong tea, oh… and coffee
Hope you get the picture….. Stick with the care of your blood sugars, be happy and thank your blessing every day when you enjoy your fresh water.

Could You be at Risk? American Diabetes ociation “Sounds the Alert” on March 25th — ADA’s 20th Annual American Diabetes Alert® Day

Could you have diabetes? One in five Americans have a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, or may even already have diabetes. Because people can live for years without knowing they have diabetes, the American Diabetes ociation (ADA) is issuing an urgent call-to-action for Americans to learn their risk for type 2 diabetes during the 20th Annual American Diabetes Alert Day. Awareness about diabetes can lead to early detection and treatment, which may help prevent type 2 diabetes or devastating complications ociated with diabetes such as heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney disease, and amputation.

On American Diabetes Alert Day, held annually on the fourth Tuesday in March, the ADA encourages people who are overweight, physically inactive, or over the age of 45 years to take the Diabetes Risk Test, which asks seven simple questions about weight, age, lifestyle and family history – all potential risk factors for type 2 diabetes. People scoring 10 points or more are at a high risk for diabetes and are encouraged to speak with their health care provider. The Diabetes Risk Test, in English or Spanish, is available by calling the ociation toll-free at 1-800-DIABETES (1-800-342-2383) or by visiting www.diabetes.org/alertnews.
